    Many great vaults today in the Tri-State Circus area… and BIG FIREWORKS came to Southern Connecticut State University Pole Vault Pit…as Joel Barlow HS,CT senior MILAN SPISEK stole the show and bettered his own school record, with his booming 15′ 0″ fly-over with his UCS Spirit rebound …before a chanting and excited crowd at the Wintergreen Invite in New Haven. This powerful and most humble vaulter will be taking it up at the UCS Spirit National Pole Vault Summit in two weeks. Full Results coming…

    The Track Universe Invite at the Armory today had outstanding results also.. With Seth Kriceff(NV-Old Tappan,NJ) looking fast and strong again on his 14′ UCS Series and a 14′ 0″ gold medal win… Ryan Vimba(Ridgewood,NJ) placed 3rd for the Maroons… In Girls… Coach Cauthers helped Maxine Earl(Ridgewood,NJ) to the gold medal stand with her 11′ 0″ vault..and team mates Nicole Lester® placing third at 10′ 6″ ..Full results coming…

    It’s a holiday rebound !!!!!! The Flying Circus athletes continued there after-the-holiday surge in many venues again yesterday and today. The ‘Fiber-Beat’ goes on and the day-to-day grinding out of specific pole vault drills continues to produce….BIG RESULTS!!!! Here is the latest rebounding….

    Today at the historic New Balance Armory Track & Field Center…West Hill,CT senior Marc DeLuca won his second Big Invitational of the early season..with his 14′ 6″ sail at the Marine Corp Invite. Also jumping super were George Zakharov(Croton-Harmon,NY) 13′ 0″ and Josiah Spain(O’Neill,NY) at 12′ 6″. Amanda McNelis(Commack,NY) coming off her 11′ 6″ Ocean Breeze win.. placed second and Lauren Berry(Emma Willard,NY) flew 9′ 0″ !!!

    The Coach Glynn Holiday Classic @ Ocean Breeze was the site for Governor Livingston,NJ senior Leah Saifi to own the runway with her new school and meet record of 12′ 3″ . This Indigo Gymnastic Level 10 athlete heads to Northeastern University next fall. Lauren Saifi placed 4th at 9′ 9″ and Kaia Becker(North Highlands,NJ) 8′ 9′ Juliana Schraer(Pascack Valley,NJ) 8′ 3″ for the Indians. The Boys vault winner was Brian Rubenstein(Governor Livingston,NJ) with his 13′ 6″ gold medal performance…Placing second was Vinnie Depaolo(Monroe,NY) 12′ 6″ and Josh Jeong(Monroe,NY) 11′ 6″

    Rhode Island Classic@ Providence …. A New School Indoor Record came from Greenwich,CT Junior…Lia Zavattaro.. with a big clear at 11′ 0″ and close bar at 11′ 7″… Placing third was Flying Circus Summer camper ..Rachael Hill(North Reading,MA) at 10′ 6″ !!!

    The Pearl River Invite at RCC was another great meet and a Cricus Sweep..with Monroe-Woodbury,NY junior Kristin Lubeski taking gold at 10′ 6″..Gabby Nebiker(Monroe,NY) 9′ 0″ Kerry Qualter(CS) 8′ 0″ Fiona Carroll(TZ) 7′ 6′ Rebecca Baez(NR) 7′ 0″ Gianna Scancarello(Monroe,NY) 7′ 0″. Congrats to Suffern ,NY Middle Schooler Hannah Soloman-Hollander with her new Middle School Record 8′ 0″ Vault. Taking the Boys Vault was Vernon,NJ senior Trevor Hazell with a 12′ 6′ Josh Jeong(MW) 11′ 6″ Tom Qualter(CS) 11′ 0″ Daesob Lim(TZ) 11′ 0″ Conor Burke(PR) 11′ 0″ Logan Matthes(MW) 10′ 0″

    The Wilton Wright Invite @ Southern,CT belonged to Weston,CT senior Danielle Cass with a 10′ 6″ win for the gold medal for Coach Matt Medve!!!!

    FLYING CIRCUS will be CLOSED Saturday December 31 and Sunday January 1. Regular classes resume Monday January 2 @ 4:30-9PM.
