It was wild fiberglass fun all day… as 18 dedicated vaulters and 10 Volunteer Meet Managers enjoyed the roar of joy with big performances…7 new PR’s and a few School/Sectional records going by the wayside. The atmosphere was filled with positive vibes and athletes supporting each other every jump. New Streaming records from Greg Mirecki showed 225 viewing audience… as more and more ” pole vault nuts” and family members are tuning into the CIRCUS MAGIC each week!!!! Fudge Brownies Refreshmants supplied by Coach Kim Chalfin were another PR surprise…. and our Circus Team Photo-Shoot by Jenn Metcalf was SENSATIONAL FUN…..Many thanks !!!!Next Meet…. Rising Stars Boys and Gils Meet…. Feb. 28 at 12 Noon.

It was Samantha Smith’s day…with her 12′ 1.5″ PR..School and Section VIII All Time Record for the junior from Syosset,NY. She had a close bar at 12′ 5.5″ and heads to Adidas Nationals next weekend. Deep results were turned in by all..as Alicia Johnson(Monroe,NY) flew 11′ 8.5″PR and Ashley Brule(Dix Hills,NY) placed third at 11′ 2.5″PR/School Record! Top Middle Schooler..Rachel Venter(Warwick,NY) at 10′ 8.5″ and close at 11′ 2.5″ State Class record.. Top Freshman..Lily Beattie(Warwick,NYO 11′ 2.5″ on her 13’1 x 170!!!! Top Soph..Elkison Weiner (Weston,CT) 10′ 8.5″ PR….!!! Top Junior –Smith at 12′ 1.5″…Top senior..Alicia Johnson(Monroe<NY) 11′ 8.5″PR…..
