      THANK YOU for joining our 27th Edition of Pole Vault Flying and Friendships here in the Warwick Valley.  Your new membership and support will help us to keep the  ‘spirit soaring’ this coming year.  Our membership program is now. stacked. with. 106 motivated and exciting athletes… ready to reach for the.  sky and share some. good old fellowship. Each month we will have the updates and highlights from our athletes in action from our members in five states. Including all activities on our growing calendar. and the New Wave of Fiber-Benders.    GET READY—– Here comes the CIRCUS!!!!!!!

   * “SOAR~BEYOND~YOUR~TALENT”  ….. The pole vault is an extreme sport that requires discipline…dedication… and a ‘never give up attitude’.  It takes many jumps to master the World’s Most Complex Event.  Championship athletes in our country are taking between  1,200 and 1,800 Jumps per year to gain mastery.  We all have to keep grinding out the drills. and mental preparedness each day to find our mark.  Confidence is developed through small gains in structured practice. sessions. ” He or she who practices best…. will reach the top of the mountain.”

  *  WINTER POLE VAULT CLUB ……  is 95% FULL!!!!!     THANK YOU for making this Winter Club strong. There are a few training spots still open in various packages….  as we close up  Winter Vaulting Registration on October 16 and we will send out Class Placements on  October 23rd.  We are “Loaded. with Talent.”…in our  Beginners…Intermediate.  and Advanced levels. It’s going to be. a SUPER INDOOR SEASON @ CIRCUS !!!!!!!

 *  Our   ‘Celebration of Life’ Memorial Service for Co-Founder. … Coach Hugh R Cauthers Jr. on Saturday was a “Day of Remembrance—Love—Spirit ” for a special man who gave all of himself to help others.  The 135   former athletes..families.  and friends filled. the tent. with LOVE  and GRATITUDE.  Flying Circus will endow a yearly educational scholarship in Coach Cauthers’ name for a boy and girl on the Monroe-Woodbury Track team exemplifying the qualities of spirit…teamwork.  and sportsmanship.  Donations. can be forwarded. to Hudson Valley Flying Circus, LLC.     Rest~in~Peace Coach Caruthers.

  * Circus athletes are making their college commitments this fall. and please send in your college choices to join the  College List. for next month’s newsletter.

  *  Our Winter Club Training begins Monday. November 11- February 6,  and will be focused.  and serious opportunities to increase. your level of pole vaulting. Our Wednesday evening Open Sessions. will end on November 6.

  *  Please join us in our HUGH CAUTHERS PRE-SEASON FALL CLASSIC Pole Vault Meets here at the BARN.. The Boys will kick off the preseason fun on Tuesday, November 5 with a 4:30 pm Warm Up time.  and a 5:31 pm Meet start time.  Entry Fee is still just $40 at the door. The Girls Meet will be on Thursday, November 7 with a warm-up time. at 4:30 pm and a Start time at 5:31 pm.  Let’s kick the rust off together and be ready for the Armory  Opener!!

  *. Flying Circus Staff will be at the Pole Vault Event Instruction at this year’s ARMORY CAMP at the world-famous. Nike Track & Field Center at the Armory(NYC) on Sunday. November 17 and you are invited to this exceptional “Day of Vaulting”. Register at  armorytrack.com  and join Coach Duffy—Coach Sorensen… and Coach St.
