* Apparel Order Fund Raiser was another success… thank you Beth Becher for donating your time to make it happen. Orders coming late next week for pick up at Vault barn.
* Our college vaulters are already hitting the roofs on campus…We will have two COLEGE VAULT SESSIONS to keep you going during your break and also our Sunday Opens for more runway time.
College Vault Sessions…Saturday Dec 22 at 2pm and Friday December 28 at 2pm… ($30 each) Please join the reunion.
* Our SORENSEN CONSULTING Pole Rentals Program is servicing our athletes . New Pole Sales are also moving fast.. If you need a pole for this indoor season…contact Coach Bob Sorensen immediately for help at b.sorensen@optonline.net UCS Spirit–Essx-Altius vaulting poles are available.
* HOLIDAY SCHEDULE @ CIRCUS….. We will be closed on December 24,25 and Dec. 31-January 1 for the Holidays with family. Winter Club classes resume December 26 and January 2 at regular times.
* The 112th NYRR Millrose games preview for the Boys and Girls Jr.Pole Vault Events will be coming on January 10th. The International field of pole vaulters for the Jr. Events are loaded again. The FLYIG CIRCUS Pole Vault Club of Warwick, New York is proud to announce this week’s latest scholarship signing by two-time All American Pole Vaulter….Kaeli Thompson of Warwick Valley Central High School,New York. Kaeli will be joining the DUKE UNIVERSITY Blue Devils Track & Field program next fall for her academic and athletic development. Kaeli is school record holder both Indoor and outdoor seasons and All-Time Section 9 Pole Vault record at 13′ 2.5″ in last years New Balance Indoor Nationals. She has been developed in all events at Warwick Valley Central by Head Coach Mike Potter…Curtis Akacki, Kirk Thomas…Dr.Frank Welling…Assistant Coaches Tori Pennings and Gene Burns under the direction of Athletic Director Greg Sirico. She is a High Honor Roll student and National Honor Society and will be coached in pole vault at DUKE by one of the finest pole vault coaches on the planet—Associate Head Coach – Shawn Wilbourn. She follows former Flying Circus All American Pole Vaulter …Megan Clark to the DUKE TRACK & FIELD family… Kaeli is the proud daughter of Greg and Heather Thompson of Warwick, New York …. * Our ARMORY POLE VAULT CAMP was FUN and PRODUCTIVE on Saturday…. Our staff of Hugh Cauthers…Brian Leggett….Ken Cevoli and Bob Sorensen were outstanding all day with the 30+ pole vault athletes of the future. Special Thanks to Armory Track & Field Director..Aaron Robinson for inviting us to be a part of this exciting program again this year… It’s all about grass roots development for our pole vault event.
* CONGRATULATIONS to West Point Pole Vault Star Leader …MADELINE SCHNEIDER of Darien,CT. for being a TOP 14 Finalist for this years RHODES SCHOLARSHIP.. This senior Honor Student has accepted the MARSHALL LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP for her next two years in the United Kingdom for our US Army Department !!!

* Congratulations To Pole Vaulter Sydney Woods of Northern Valley-Demarest,NJ for leading her team this week to another NJ STATE VOLLEYBALL TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP. Her 9 Kills and MVP of the tournment was huge and she now will hit the pole vault pits with more power. This UPENN signee has accepted her invitation to the 112th NYRR MILLROSE GAMES Jr, Girls ole Vault on February 9th at the Armory!!!!
