Toms River,NJ. NJ State Group Championships…   Pompton Lakes senior. hurdler/vaulter was. at her best in winning. Group 1. PV Title. with her  11′ 6″
 fly over.  and a state runner-up in the. 55m Hurdles in 8.78.  Joining the State Group Title. were Nate Park(Old Tappan). at 14′ 0″ in Group 2…Jamie Kim(Old Tappan) is State Champ at 10′ 6″.  and. Sophomore Matt Herbert won his state title in Non-Public at 13′ 0″ for Newark Academy. Many new Personal best and school records. listed below in Full Results.

 Pre-Nationals @ Armory ….   It was the Norris. sisters flying at the armory on Friday night…. Senior. Tatum Norris(Susquehanna Community,PA)   took home.  two new. seasonal best and. silver medals in 55m Dash in 7.21.  and 200m. in 25..22.. Eigth Grade. sister Bailee.. fly to a.  big PRin her 200m dash . Minisink Valley,NY Logan Schupner. flew to gold. with his PR. at 13′ 0″ for Coach Beck/Schupner.

PSAL City Championships @ Armory~~~~ .. Bronx Science,NY.  senior sprinter./vaulter ..Grace Zagoria defended. her pole vault title. again at 10′ 0″…followed. by teammate Zoe Levitt. at 9′ 0″ sweep.

Girls—Olivia DeBellis(Suffern) and Maia Perillo(John Jay) both advanced. to NY State Meet  ay 11′ 0″ and Max Dicker(Bronxville).  took home the bragging honors with gold. at  13′ 0″ for the Blue and White. NY State Meet will be in 2 weeks. at Ocean Breeze,NY.

 It was an AMAZIN’ WEEK of Flying Energy all around the Northeast Section in Pole Vault Country.  CONGRATULATIONS to athletes for supporting each other with positive energy and kindness at every meeting. 

The weekend was filled. with personal bests…  high spirits…school records….  new grips…new poles… longer runs… new friendships. and a greater appreciation of the joys of participating in athletics.  The photo above are the. ” 2023   MILLROSE  Jr. GIRLS  of POLE VAULT ” … sharing a. wonderful night of flying and togetherness with  2016 Olympic Pole Vault Champion…Katerina Stefanidi (Greece) and with their Pole Vault  Officials backing up there efforts all night long.  It’s. always. exciting watching kids taking up the challenges.  (Professional Photo~ John Nepolitan)

Millrose Jr.Girls-(Feb 9)—-Veronica Vacca(Flourtown, PA)  put on a show from Philly Jumps Club.. with her. 13′ 5.25″ sail for Coach Brian Monschine and Coach Talen Singer…. and her teammates joined. her in the next 5 places!!!!  Emma Keating(Pompton Lakes, NJ) and Ella Galloway(Pine Bush, NY).  tied. at 11’11.75″ for. Circus honors.. followed. by Lily Beattie(Warwick). Tatum Norris(Susquehanna,PA).  Rachel Venter(Warwick)   Ellison Weiner..all at 11′ 5.75″.     Grace Zagoria(NYC) was. solid bars following her injury of the last 3 weeks.

Millrose Jr.Boys-(Feb. 11)—-  It was. a jump-off dual in the Elite. Jr.Boys. Pole Vault… with. Superman Maddox Hamm(Scottsboro, Alabama) prevailed with a huge. jump at 17′-00.75′ FOR  Coach Chris Spears Vault. club. edging superstar Wyatt Stewart(Richmond, Kentucky) also Soaring 16′ 10.75″.. for silver. Millrose Pro-Women (Feb. 11)~~~ This was another loaded Pole Vault. event..with the. best in the world taking it up strong.  Katie Moon(Nageotte)  flew 15′ 9.5″ for Team Essx. and Coach Brad Walker…  and c close bars at  16’1″. Bridget Williams(Guy) flew 15′ 7.25 for the third week in a row. for Team Essx. and Olympic Champion…Katerina Stefanini(Adidas) went big over 15′  2.75 ..Gabby Leon)Puma)  14′ 8.5″…HS Stars… Amanda Moll. 14′ 8.5″.
