 It is truly hard to explain the joy and happiness of watching young people. strive for excellence.  Such was the case in point. this past weekend in small energy packed.  arenas in our tri-state area.   with the spirit of love and peace surrendering us… all things. are possible this magical holiday season. Athletes coming together to help each other is the story we all seek…. and it shows in the positive vibes at each gathering.  You are more than just athletes in motion ….. you are. examples of the human spirit.   Keep. striving.

 * Friday Night @ The Armory…. Lily Beattie(Warwick Valley) started up the train with a sensational. 12′ 6″ launch for gold and had.  solid. bars. at  Kaeli Thompson’s meet record at 13′ 0″. Ellison Weiner(Weston, Ct State Champ) also sizzled. over. 12′ 0″ for silver. and Pompton Lakes senior, Emma Keating sailed. 11′ 6″, along with Ella Galloway(Pine Bush) Rachel Venter(Warwick Valley, NY).  and Tatum Norris(Susquehanna, PA) all at 11′ 6″ and close bars. at 12′ 0″.   Making. the National Standard for the NIKE INDOOR NATIONALS also were Hannah Cann(Warwick Valley, NY and Maia Perillo(John Jay, NY). at 11′ 0″. Grace Zagoris(Bronx Science). and Olivia DeBellis(Suffern, NY) both sailed. 10′ 6″ for the Top 10 sweep. 

Dunmoor, PA junior. Maura Michalczyk won the. club section. at 10′ 6″ (Full results Below) Tatum Norris(Susquehanna, PA). ripped.   thru. a. win in her 55m Dash. with. 7.53 Blast for the Sabers !! 

The Boy’s competition was. also magnificent.. as. senior Brian O’Sullivan(Hillsborough,NJ) set. a new meet record.  and personal best of 16′ 5″ and close bar at 16′ 9″ for the Jr.Millrose Games invitee from Vault Factory(USA#1).  RLuke Williams(Ridgefield, CT) flew double PR. with. his state-leading 14′ 6″ silver medal. and Fresh Luke Beattie(Warwick Valley, NY) equaled the NY State Freshman record. of. 13′ 6″ on his. 14′ 1″ x. 180 Essx!! Just 2 more weeks. and. we are off to the races !!!!!    You are all ready to take it  up…..  may your final two weeks are filled. with confidence. and final grips.. pole runs.  Record. all start marks. in notebooks for. 6- 7- 8 step approaches. this week.       



* Compression. socks in practice and in meets help. with stabilization of the athlete on the runway and take-off.  and prevents shin injury. ..Also increases circulation for a faster recovery phase.  be smart in this pole vault game.       

* We will start to learn and practice. the meet warm-up routines  on Sunday, December 4 week

        * Winter #1  Vault Training Package. ends on December 22.  Winter #2 Training Package. begins on January 2. We will miss the 16 athletes leaving Winter #1. and. we will celebrate. the new. 16 athletes taking the Vault Barn by storm!!!!       

*  There is no class on Wednesday. December 21. The entire staff will be. at Armory Section 9 Classic. with 30 of our vaulters. Mark your calendar on the Barn Closed. that day. It will be made up in February.
