EVERYONE WAS READY-to-FLY
“HATS OFF”…. to an eager group of dedicated ‘Fiberglass Athletes” at Flying Circus “GOLDEN VAULT MEET” today. Training thru COVID is not an easy task….. but..today the REARDS were great as. 16 Personal Bests were recorded and a few New School Records were thrown up with no spectators inside the the old barn…but Live You Tube Streaming to all family and friends by Coach Greg Mirecki of MVP the entire day was filled with spirit. The Volunteers came thru again with fast bar replacements.. immediate standards posting and lively loud clapping on all third jumps !!!!! YES– TODAY was an AWESOME DAY TOGETHER > Congrats and thank you all.

The fun started at high noon..with a spirited warm up and a focused group…… Wallkill,NY senior…Louis Martinez put on a show of speed and technique with his double PR and 16′ 1.5″ Sail for USA#7 and Flying Circus Club #7 All-Time !!! Using a 7 step and his 14′ 7″ Essx Recoil poles to the max…… he took another 3 great bars at 16′ 5″!!! He now is #3 ALL-Time in Section 9 List!!!! In the Girls Open..It was all Alana Carroll of Averial Park,NY(Harvard Soph) flying 13′ 2.5″ and nearly claimed 13’8.5″ on 3rd jump. for Coach Duffy. Steve Ditelberg(Fairfield,CT).. junior…. set school record at 13′ 8.5″ on bigger poles for Coach Sorensen and Junior Max Zuckerman(Pascack,NJ) flew 14′ 8.5″ silver medal.!!!!
