        At the Terrier Classic in Boston..Marissa Robbins(Manhattan University) vaulted to 12′ 5″ ..Team mate Maddessen Weekes went 10′ 6″ Shannon Lenzi)UMASS/LOWELL) hit 10′ 0″ and Bre Brucher(Manhattan) made 10′ 0″ for the Jaspers…. At the Ramapo Invite at the armory..Freshman West Point scholar..Maddie Schneider placed 3rd at 11′ 2″ for the Long Grey Line and Joe Crispi of Wagner made 14′ 5″ !!!
      High School Action… Leading the way was Nick Marino(Hatboro-Horseham,PA) with a 14′ 6″ at Ocean Breeze Invite for a new facility record ..Liam Ackerman(St.Anthony,NY) flew the coop at 14′ 0″ and Connor Morris(CBA) hit 11′ 6″. Commack,NY junior and Millrose bond..won at 11′ 6″ for the Warehouse and Kelli Zestanakis(TH) made 9′ 0″.

      In last weeks Utica Challenge..Alana Carroll(Averil Park-Soph) made 11′ 1″ ..Emily Legg(Sidney-Delhi) 9′ 6″. Henry Vollmer(Darien,CT) soared 11′ 6″ from 4 step to advance to Connecticut sectionals.

      In last nights Saburban Council Champs..Tedi DeMaria(Bethlehem) continues her young vault career at 11′ 6″ for Coach Gansel… Ben Vardi-Davidson(Fonda) cleared 12’6″. In Rockland Champs..Daeseob Lim(TZ) won the crown at 12′ 0″..Aidan Miller(PR) 12′ 0″ connie Burke(PR) 11′ 6″ Eugene Dim(Nanuet) 9′ 6″. Kerry Qualter(Clarkstown South) won her title at 8′ 6″. In North County Champs..8th grader Kaleb Istran(Beacon,NY) placed 6th at 8′ 6″.. 

      At the Susquehanna Invite.. emerging junior Madisyn Hawkins(Coughlin.PA) placed silver at 10′ 6″. In last nights Catholic Champs at the Armory..It was another BOOM from Soph Charles Crispi(Farrell) over 13′ 6″ for the win for Coach Jerr Cahill Boom-Crew!!!

      The NYRR MILLROSE jr.GIRLS are moving up…with Margaret Ollinger(McGill-Toolen,Alabama) soaring 13′ 2.5″ in the Birmingham Cross=Plex meet on Saturday afternoon. This Vanderbilt commit is TOP SEED for the Feb. 20 NYRR MILLROSE!!!

      Orange County Leagur Champs saw two new stars win their first OCL Vault Titles… Warwick Valley,NY junior Isaac Heatley won gold at 12′ 6″ followed by Matt DeLorenzo(Wallkill) 12′ 6″ dane Sorensen(Warwick) 12′ 0″ Vinnie DePaolo(MW) 12′ 0″ Andrew Mata(NFA) 12′ 0″ Andy Ruebenstahl(Wash) 11′ 6″ Josh Jeong(MW) 11’6″ Brendan McShane(Warwick) 11′ 0″ Chris Endrizze(MW) 11’m 0″ Kiernan McCarthy(VC) 10′ 6″ Austin O’Mally(Gos) 10′ 0″ Matt Warren(Wash) 8′ 0″.         “STRONG THRUST” …… The UCS Spirit poles were in full recoil mode this past weekend at all levels…High School…College and Pro. Congrats to everyone carrying the sticks and chasing the dreams of Fiber-Flying! The Drills program at Flying Circus is showing BIG RESULTS in technique and performance. DRILLS….the BACKBONE of POLE VAULT DEVELOPMENT. Let’s continue to master the movements and felling of positions in our drills. Small drills = GIANT VAULTS!!!!!   
       Mid-Season News …. JENN SUHR, USA ….. BREAKS INDOOR WORLD RECORD !!!! Congratulations to Jenn Suhr and Coach Rick Suhr for raising the mental bar in pole vaulting… Jumping in a small Brockport University Open meet on Saturday..Jenn sailed 16′ 6″ on her biggest poles to break her old WORLD RECORD of 16’5.25″. Coming into this season with her best and strongest fall prep season ever… produced some more magic from SUHR SPORTS,INC Rochester,NY. This just proves that we all can produce BIG PERFORMANCES anytime we are in a meet…big or small….the bar is still the same! Jenn and Rick will be joining our club this spring for a question/answer sessions for all our vaulters///autograph session and small 1 hour clinic at the BARN !!! Don’t miss this day… touch the Olympic Spirit !!!!
       College News…. Megan “Flips” Clark… aka..’The Duke Flash’….is up to her old tricks again…with a sensational 14′ 4″ win at JDL Classic on Friday for Coach Wilbourn. Megan had very close bars at 14′ 10 and travels to Armory this saturday for Jack Pfiefer’s Armory Invite at 10:30AM event. She returns for the TV National NYRR MILLROSE GAMES on February 20!!! GO MEGAN!!!!!

        Up at Boston,MA..The Terrier Classic was huge…with Craig Hunter(Unattached/UCONN) sailing strongly over 17′ 4.25″…TJ Murphy(UCONN) 16′ 1″…Derek DiBone(UCONN) 15′ 6″..Erik Adamick(Rider) 15′ 0″ and Billy Thibulti(Rhode Island) 15′ 0″…. At Camel City Invite,VA… Sean “Flying Bulls” Young hit it just right making 17′ 4.25″ easily before he went fishing…..Luke Annichiarico(Wake Forest) is cranking it up at 15′ 5″ for the Decons. The PennState National Open was exciting pole vaulting..with Circus Alumni Peter Fagan(Binghamton University) soars 16′ 10″PR for Coach Thompson…James Steck(Va Teck) made 16′ 2″ with air to spare and Stefan Buechele(Albany University) went 14′ 8″
