BIG RESULTS LEAD the Memorial Weekend Action
East Meadow,NY HS junior…Brandon Love…flew to a big personal best at Mitchell Field at 15′ 0″ and moves up to #4 NY State List… This coachable and humble speedster has mastered the run!!!! Our Penn relays Champion..Shane Racey(Ravena,NY) also flew 15’0″ this week to win Eddy Games and hit 15′ 7″PR earlier last week!!! He is also just a junior with strong academics!!! TOp of the Girls Performance list …was Western Wayne,PA .. junior Trina Barcarola , coached by Bob Amos. This powerful junior flew 12′ 6″ (PR) to win PA State 2A pole vault crown and also won 100m Hurdles State Title at 15. 31!!!! Taking the North Jersey Girls Sectionals was.. Northern Valley-Old Tappan..junior..Marisa DiGia coached by Jeff Clark. Marisa flew 12′ 2″ School Record for the gold and was close at next bar up!!!!! Follow the other 113 succes stories below!!!!
Section 9 Champs @ Middletown,NY~~~ It was a” Mirecki Vertical ” show in the Boys and Girls Class A pole vault..as both brother and sister qualified for the EE NATIONALS in Greensboro on June 13-14!!! Nick ..a Washingtonville,NY junior..coached by Stephanie Duffy…flew 14′ 9″ and then took 3 very good shots at school record 15’1″… Sophie Mirecki..a Washingtonville,NY freshman..hit 10′ 6″PR to qualify for this years Freshman NB Nationals on her biggest pole. Taking the Gold in the Girls Class A was NB Indoor National Champion..Kaeli Thompson(Warwick,NY) at 11′ 0″.. and then set school record in Triple Jump 36′ 6’25″…17′ 4.5″LJ and 15.35PR in 100 Hurdles for 34 TEAM POINTS!!!
