    Let the Games Begin………………. Congratulations. to all our pole vaulters @ Circus.  and in College. for a. sensational opening week of flying. These opening marks. are just a preview of a great indoor season ahead.  Remember.. these marks. are just early December performances… just kicking rust off. and learning about ourselves and our poles.  These are just starting marks !!! Let’s go  CONFIDENT into the season and practice sessions together.

  * College Scene…….. Lily Beattie(Ole Miss) opened BIG  in Birmingham.Alabama. with her 3rd place finish at 12′ 7.5″  and close at 13’1″ for the REBELS….  Emma Keating(Rutgers University). also 12′ 7.5″  for 3rd place in the Nike Armory… UCONN standout…Rachel Mason flew. 12′ 1″. at her home HUSKIES meet and Tatum Norris(Binghamton University)  soph blasted.  fast 60m. and. 11′ 9″ Pole Vault sail for Coach Mike Thompson’s Bearcats…. Mallory Malz of UCONN.  hit 11′ 7″ for the Huskies.  and Maia Perillo(UMASS-Freshman)  was solid. at 11′ 7″ .   Colette Metcalf of St. Johns University placed. silver at Ocean Breeze with 11′ 1.75″. …Madison Chalfin(UCONN). 10′ 7″…Virginia Llort(St Johns) 10′ 8″..Berit Freidenback(St. Johns) 10′ 8″…Caroline Fatta(Binghamton) 10′ 8″…  Keely Schock(Brockport) 9′ 1″ PR !!!  Steve Detleberg(Emory) hit 14′ 2″ …… College athletes should report performances to coachst@gmail.com  as they happen for the shout-out.

  * High School Scene……. Rachel Venter(Warwick Valley) led the charge today at the The Warwick Center  Winter #1 Meet. with her. 12′ 3.5″ win and the Pineapple-Lemonade Joe Tea prize. She. had close bar at 12′ 7.5″ and qualified. for Nike Indoor Nationals. Taking the silver medal was Jenna Monaco(Dumont,NJ). at 11′ 9.5″  with Big Air to spare.(Indoor PR). and Madeline Magliaro(Trinity,NY) hit 11′ 3.5″. Placing forth was Anderson Farina(Cornwall)  at 10′ 9.5″ in her first indoor meet. Stella Scherbak sailed to gold Friday night in Nike Armory at 11′ 0″ and hior 10′ 9.5″ with short run today.  Delaware Valley,PA senior. Liliana Coe  was impressive over  10′ 3.5″ and Sarah Shipman(Crestwood,PA) went Bi over 9′ 9.5″‘  . Delilia Kronimus(Minisink Valley,NY) won the Ocean Breeze meet  at 11′ 0″  …Ashlyn Weakley(Columbia,NY) won the Ithaca College Invite. at 10′ 6″. and teammate..Natalie Krisanda won the Union Colleg Invite. at 9′ 6″ for Coach Ganzle…  and Logan Schupner(Minisink Valley) placed silver at 14′ 0″.. Teammate Tyler Cloidt (Minisinl). opened. at 10′ 6″ for the Warriors.   At the Warwick Center… Warwick Valley,NY junior vaulter..Klaus Lindenau blasted over  15′ .5″ for the win and Nike National Qualifier with his 14′ 7″ poles for Coach Potters Vault crew.  Cole Wilson(Wasjingtonville,NY0 was sensational in his double PR  day with 12′ 9.5″ and near bar atr 13′ 3.5″.  Coming off the football field last week  is Anthony Roe(Warwick Valley,NY) senior. with 12’ 3.5″)Indoor PR) for the Wave!!!

Meet action continues this weekend. at West Point Fieldhouse for all Section 9 Teams.    Circus Winter Training Groups #1  ends in just 2 weeks(December 19). Let’s hit the final 2 weeks with all your heart. Circus Winter Training Group #2 begins after a 10 day recovery period from December 20-Dec. 29.  Session # 2 begins on Monday, December 30…  There are four. spots open now in Winter #2… Contact Coach St at  coachst@gmail.com if interested  in  joining in the final 4  spots(Dec 30-Feb 6)
