     North Shore Pre-Nationals @ Armory

     February 14

   It was. “Circus Fireworks” tonight at the North Shore Pre-Nationals in the historic Nike Track & Field Center At the Armory,

  as the Boys Circus and Girls Circus Flyers swept both events. with stellar performances.

 The Girls sweep was led by senior captain …Rachel Venter  of Warwick Valley,NY .. with  a lifetime best. 12′ 8″. for Coach Kirk Thomas Lady Wildcats. This North Carolina Charlotte signee

 then took 2. great vaults at the 13′ 0″  bar and moved up to second All-Time. at Warwick Valley Central Vault list.  Also flying strong was junior, Delila Kronimus of Minisink Valley with a   great 11′ 6′

 fly-over for Coach Doug Schupner for the silver.  Coming on strong this winter is junior Anderson Farina of Cornwall Central.  with her bronze medal finish at 11’0″ and near bar at 11′ 6′ for the Lady Dragons Section 9 Champions.

 The Boys followed with sensational a  1-2-3 sweep also… as junior captain…Luke Beattie of Warwick Valley Purple Wave, NY put on a dual Vault ~ Sprint show!!!  Using a medium-run approach on his 193 ESSX RECOIL.. he. flew. 16′ 6′

 for the gold. and had. 2 close bars at 17′ 4″ State Record attempts in his new team singlet!!!  He also blasted a come-from-behind anchor leg on his 4 x 200 Relay in 21.72 for the CATS New School Record. 1:30.45 !!!!!! Logan Schupner

 of Minisink Valley was also ready with his clean 16′ 0″ again to equal his indoor school record for the silver medal. Completing the Boys Fireworks. was senior…Anthony Roe of Warwick Valley,NY with his huge 12′ 6′ bronze medal vault!!
