The Hudson Valley Flying Circus Pole Vault, LLC   ” Flying-in-the-Barn ” Together

 “IT’s NOT OVER YET” ………  School Records……. 9 All-Time  PR’s …….Spirited Laughter  and Stuff you can’t  make up !!!!!!!!!! The  Boys Circus  Elite Meet was moved  Indoor  due  to rain,thunder,lighting conditions…..  and  the  21 Elite Pole Vaulters put on  a show!!!!!!!!!  Congratulations to all vaulters, parents   and meet volunteers for making it  a memorable  day at our  19th MEET of the YEAR  @ CIRCUS HEAVEN.  This  tune up meet for  our SUMMER POLE VAULT FESTIVAL on JUly 9-10   was deep with results and  energy.  Guys  were moving up poles  and grips every other jump  and new performance levels  were acheived.  THANK YOU ALL  for making POLE VAULT FUN !!

 MEET RECAP~   The High School Boys Division featured  newly signed NY State Recordholder..Louis Martinez (Wallkill,NY)  fly a new indoor PR  at 16′ 7″ with room  to spare  and super  bars  at 17′ 1.5″ for the University of Alabama signee. Louis takes it to Oregon’s Hayward Field  next week  for  Nike Nationals.  Great jumps  came  also to St. Anthony’s Nick Lourenco..with his New PR  and  New School record  of  16′ 1″  for  coach Jim Henderson and The Wearhouse Pole Vault Club. Nick was  close  at the NY State Junior Class record   with his 16′ 7″ leaps.  Cranking up in  third  ..was  Pascack Hills,NJ  junior , Max Zuckerman with  15′ 1″  and also heads  to Nike Nationals… Taking the  forth spot was junior Harrison Hayward of Hackley School,NY  with  a double PR  at 13′ 7″ for Coach Duffy.  Top Soph  was Scott Andersen(Hunterdon Central.NJ)  at 12′ 1″PR .   The  Open Division was loaded with  college vaulters and former champions… as  Dane Sorensen  set PR  and Cortland University record  of  16′ 7″ and moved up poles  at close  bars  17′ 1.5″.  Taking   silver was  the  resurgancing Nick Mirecki(Washingtonville,NY)  with  14′ 7″ seasonal best for the Bryant University  freshman.  Miguel Negrete(Bucknell)   and Rich Mangogna(Long Island) were  super over 14′ 1″ to round out the TOP  FIVE.  The Big Surpirse  came  from Brett Carey ..the former M-W Star from 30 years ago.. with his 10′ 1″ clear to win the Masters Division   at 59 years young!!!!!   Congratulations  all.. full results  below .
