Our season at Flying Circus began  with  our “Homecoming Ice-Breakers ” Pre-Season meet this week,  as. 32 athletes… and 16 Meet volunteers joined in the. celebration of  ‘Human Flying’ in the. cozy old Vault Barn at The Warwick Center.  The Boys  and Girls….  were exciting to watch,  as 20 Personal Bests were in the. air…along with some great spirit of supporting each other all day.   YES ~~~~. FLYING CIRCUS in now in session !

Thursday Evening (October 27)  The Boys were  ready….. Taconic Hills,NY. junior All American Decathlete…. Neil Howard III  flew to  a JOE TEA  first place. with  his 14′ 9″ clear and close bars. at 15′ 1.5″ ….  Ian Kearney(Northern Highlands,NJ).  took honors.  as TOP Senior.  at 13′ 7″…. Leading the TOP SOPH. was  Matt Herbert(Newark Academy,NJ).  at 13′ 4″ PR  for Coach Will Nesbitt.    5 Personal Bests  raddled the rafters!!!!  Meet Volunteers. were Coach Sorensen,Ella Galloway,Rachel Venter and Hannah Cann.  Thank you All.  (Full Results Below)

  Friday Evening (October 28)  The Girls were  field was loaded  with 18 spirited girls pulling. for. each other…. as. Pine Bush,NY Junior Multi-Event star..Ella Galloway made her breakthrough with 3 personal bests. and. a new school record of  12′ 7 ” leap of faith   and  2 close bars. at 12′ 10″.  Team Mate Lily Beattie(Warwick,NY). also just a junior.. flew 12′ 4″ on her 14 foot Essx  sticks. . Top Soph Award went. to Rachel Venter(Warwick,NY). with. 11′ 7″ make before bar  injury  sidelined. her.. and   Junior Hannah Cann(Warwick,NY) produced 4 Personal Bests to clear 11′ 7″ for the Purple Wave. and. a new T-Shirt !!! Top Senior. Was  Connecticut State Champ..Ellison Weiner(WEston,CT). at 11′ 1″.  and Top Frosh. was  Jenna Monaco(Dumont,NJ). at 8′ 7″.  Middle School Champion was Stella Scherbak(Monroe,NY). at 8′ 7″PR for  the Purple Pride.  Hats Off to MEET VOLUNTEERS… Steve Perillo,Julioe Christian,Elizabeth Apopstolico,Ken Cevoli,Stehanie,Bob Sorensen,Rich & Melanie Beattie !!!!  (Full Results Below)
