1. 2024 SUMMER FLYING CIRCUS CAMP FORMS

    Welcome  “Pole~Flyers of all Ages”…… You are invited to join the. fun and learning to fly with us this summer at our 27th Boys and Girls Flying Circus Pole Vault camps in Warwick, New York.  These two-day Camps at our five pole vault pits, along with our indoor apparatus. will provide a sensational understanding of the Mechanics of the Pole Vault event. Camp is open to Boys and Girls in Grades 6–12.   We will supply all poles at camp and have experienced coaches leading all ability-based groups of instruction.

       It may be. sub zero outside…. but our vaulters  have turned up the heat on the pole vault runways this past week…. and. entered. the ‘MAGIC ZONE” in pole vaultland.

        OCL Division 1-3-5 Champs @ West Point— Ella Galloway(Pine Bush) sailed. 13′ 1″ School Record Pole Vault on her 14’1 ESSX sticks, along with her 5’4″  High Jump Gold and 17’3″ Long Jump Silver..thus. 28 Team Points. Stella Scherbak(Monroe)  blasted back over 10′ 6″. for Crusaders for silver. and NYS Top Frosh….Averie Klein(PB) 10′ 0″ Bronze. Syd Remenar(VC) 6′ 0″. Ady Laurie of New Paltz was sensational in her.  win.  at 11′ 0″.  and close bar at 11′ 6′.   Nate VonDeben(Pine Bush) was champion in Division 1…with big 11′ 6″… Logan Willens(Goshen) silver at 9’0″. Jacob Andrade(G) 8′ 6′  Tyler Stevenson(SW). 7′ 0″ silver.   

        Coaches Hall of Fame Invite @ Nike Armory ~~~ produced two school records and 7 PR’s…as Neil Howard III(Taconic  Hills)  flew. 15′ 10″ seasonal best.  and dashed. a PR. 6.58 for the Decathlon Champion.  Trinity School,NYC junior. Madeline Magliaro produced a magnificent. 12′ 0″ clear. for the gold medal again and big height over 12′ 3″…..Zoe Levitt(Bx Science placed 5th. at 10′ 0″…Madison Tierney(PJ)  7′ 0″  Natalie Krisanda(Columbia) won Soph Group at 10′ 0″..Maddelyn Duong(BX Science). 8′ 6’… The novice winner was Ashley Weakley(Columbia) 9′ 0″. Chris Nugent(Stepnic) won Boys. Novice. at 11′ 0″…Cole Michelini(Stepnic) won the frosh at 7′ 6″.

      Toms River Athletic Bubble,NJ— Senior Ben Mandler(Pascack Hills)  won at 14′ 0″.  and teammate Mike Dao hit 13′ 6′. again for the Relay win at 27’6″.

      Section 1 Action at Armory today… Aiden Gleeson(Pearl River) brought home the gold pole vault medal. at 10′ 6″.  Kate Dowling(Pearl River) won the. girls. at 9′ 0″.   and Michael Weyne(Greeley) won his D-1 division. at 12′ 0″ PR!!!  At the. Susquehanna Invite ,PA… Delaware Valley,PA-Soph). Liliana Coe placed 3rd. at 10′ 0″.

      College Circus Kids Soaring…………

          Pole Vaulting continues. after High School..Here are awesome results…

           *  Texas Senior,.. Kaeli Thompson won her. first indoor meet for the National Champions Longhorns with a PR. 13′ 6.25″ and. so close. at 14′ 0’bar…. Emma Keating(Rutgers -Freshman). sailed. 12′ 8.5″.  in Boston for 5th place Indoor PR….. Tatum Norris(Binghamton-Freshman) placed.  2nd. at Bucknell with her 11′ 7.5″. and then placed 5th in 60m Dash at 7.81. and Brandon Love(Binghamton-Senior) won gold at 15′ 3″ Caroline Fatta(Warwick Valley,NY). Senior. flew. 11.2″PR, thanks. to Coach Thompson and Coach Duffy.   Up in Boston..it was Rachel Mason(UCONN-Soph). winning her. second college meet. at 12′ 2.5″ and Big East #1 on her. 13’1.  and 13′ 6″ poles for the Lady Huskies. Mallory Matz(UCIONN). flew PR at 11′ 8.5″ for silver… Madison Chalfin(UCONN-Soph) 11′ 2.5″…. Jules Gravier(UMASS)  set her best at 11′ 2.5″… Charlotta Moscovici(Albany)-Freshman). 10′ 9″. Hannah Solomon-Hollander(Albanu) 9′ 9′.   Big PR. came. from Coco Metcalf of St.John’s University. at Ocean Breeze..with her 11′ 2.5 for Coach Sorensen. Down at the Carolina Challenge… Freshman Grace Zagioria (Davidson University,NC) flew 11′ 4.5″PR. from just her 5 step and light poles.!!!
