VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM USATF NEW YORK
The Monroe-Woodbury Track Club also known as a branch of the NJ Striders has filed a petition with the National Office to have Orange County, Rockland County, and Sullivan County moved under USATF New Jersey to allow their youth members to compete for the NJ Striders.
Those three counties also include you! We have an additional 420 members from those counties and athletes representing 13 clubs which are;
Newburgh Elite TC
Rock City Striders
Rockland Road Runners
Central Park Track Club
Zodiacs Track Club
Park Racewalkers
New York Starz
The Executives
Orange Runners Club
Hudson Valley Flying Circus
Wilson Memorial Track Club
RWB Track Club
Hudson Valley Track Club
All members of these clubs would be moved to NJ.
USATF New York is the fastest growing association in the country and we are on the verge of breaking 4,000 members, have grown to over 110 organizational members, producing high level programming for youth, open, and masters athletes in all areas of our within our geographical location.
Meet and Race Directors will also have to sanction events through USATF New Jersey if this happens which could increase your sanctioning and insurance fee’s. This will also effect our organizational structure since three of our board members reside in the area’s listed above.
WE ARE NEW YORK – Where Amazing Happens! Please sign the petition as soon as possible and have your voice be heard!
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE GAIN AS MANY SIGNATURES AS POSSIBLE THIS IS TIME SENSITIVE!
Click here to sign the petition!
We also encourage the clubs mentioned above to make sure your athletes sign the petition as well. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
