CONGRATS to our early season vaulters this weekend…as the FUN starts to RECOIL!!! Manhattan University Freshman… Justin Farrenkopf…last years New Yorl State Pole Vault Champion.. won his first collegiate meet…with a 15’ 10” performance at Manhattan Open for Coach Dan Mecca…. Flying Circus-South Coach Ben Simonet flew to a 4.35m place at 14’ 3” for an indoor seasonal Personal best !!! Also taking the Womens Gold was Jasper Freshman Marisa Robbins(Goshen,NY) with her 10’ 10” clear.. Flying Circus alumni Sarah Moore…Breanna Brucher and Maddessen Weekes completed the TOP 4 Vault Sweep !!!!

Rye,NY senior…Matea Friedel soared to her first Armory Win at the Section 1 Opener on Saturday night..followed by Leah Washsmuth(TC Ketchum)..Dana Rokicsak(C.South) and Tara Bergstrom(Somers) followed…. James Mariner(Somers) flew 12’ 3” for the Boys Gold…Mike Martello(Somers)…Charles Wilson(N Rochelle) and Pete O’Neill all started up the season on a successful note.

Coach Jon Hill at West Point Military Academy was ready to roll at the Carlton Croll Open at Gillis Fieldhouse… with freshman Jordan Worthington soaring 15’ 11.5” for the win as Army took the TOP 6 Spots in Men and Top 4 Spots in Women!!!!!

The New Balance Nationals will be at THE ARMORY on March 14-15-16…. Here are the Qualifying marks need to get into the FINAL VAULT DANCE!!
