This LAST CHANCE Meet is you final opportunity to qualify for the GREATEST INDOOR NATIONAL POLE VAULT MEET this year. This USATF meet will have real bar and officials to decide the entry marks. All marks will be forwarded to the National Scholastic Foundation Meet Directors and MileSplit.com !!!!

Down in chilly Toms River,NJ…The Meet of Champions was just that….with Katlyn Rymarzow(Pope John) blasting over 11′ 6″ on her first jump to place 2nd and Circus team mate Sabrina Anderson(Hunterdon,NJ) also flew 11′ 6′ for the Red Devils to place 3rd overall.. Both Girls moved to the 13’1″ x 155 Spirits for close shots at 12′ 0″!!! Easterns is coming!!! Bridget Muller(Mahwah) PR at 10′ 6″ Lauren Bilali(OT) 10′ 6″ Jenna Braun(Mahwah) 9’6″ Jess Ippolito(Fairlawn) 9′ 6″ Amanda Grieco(UC) vaulted super! In Boys Caleb Duffany(NV-D) 13’0″ ..Brian Sagendorf(UC) 13′ 0″ Connor Morris(CBA) 12′ 6″.
West Point Gillis Fieldhouse Pole Vault area is one of the best around…as Samantha Beyar(Monroe-Woodbury,NY)…coming off her super Millrose Games..hit 12′ 0″ for the Crusaders without spikes!!! She had very close shots at 12′ 3″ for Coach Goodwin and Coach Cauthers!!! Erin Leahey(Warwick) is on a positive roll of fiberglass with her 11’0″ make and near 11′ 6″ bar..Freshman Kristen Lubeski(Monroe) just brushed off 10′ 6″PR Kat VanLedje(Cornwall) placed at 9′ 6″ Andrea Dolan(Wallkill) his 8’6″… he “Come-Back Kid”…Derek DiBona(Warwick) put on a vertical show with his 14′ 6′ clear with short poles and then stopped with the 10 points for the Purple Wave…Ivan Mieses of Middletown was a star ..with his New Middletown High School Indoor record of 14′ 0″…Brandan Nebiker(Monroe) flew 13′ 6″ again for Coach Glover….Matt Greenlaw of Warwick entered the 13 Foot Pole Vault Club and close at 13′ 6″ Matt DeLorenzo(Wallkill) exploded over 13’0″ and Sean Farrell(Piner Bush) set PR at 9′ 0″.
Section 2 Team championships @ Albany Bubble…It was the Tedi DiMaria Show…as the gymnast turned pole vaulter scored 28 Points for Bethlehem High School…with her 11′ 0″ vault win…her 35′ 1″ Triple Jump win and her 4’10” High Jump 2nd place…This junior began vaulting on 5 months ago!!!!
College News…. Megan Clark(Duke) sailed again…this time at VT Open..winning at 14′ 0″ by more than 1 foot clearance… James Steck (VT-Freshman) from Shaker,NY sailed over 16’3″ for Coach Bob Phillips..ACC Championships next weekend in Blacksburg. Marissa Robbins(Manhattan) won her MAAC Vault today at a personal best 12′ 6″ for the Jaspers..Maddesson Weekes(Manhattan) placed 3rd at 11′ 3.5″… At Notre Dame Alex Wilson Invite…Kayla Polcari ripped a PR of 12′ 11.75 ” for the Fighting Irish!!! The American East Conference Championships saw Sop Grace Weisbecker(Vermont) win gold at 11′ 9.75″ Sarah Haley(Bing) 11′ 9.75″ and Kari Murnane(New Hampshire) 10′ 4″..In Men..Peter fagan(Bing) sailed 16′ 3″ for Silver…Justin Farrenkopf(Albany) 14′ 9″ Travis Fountain(Bing) 14′ 3″ and Stephan Buechel(Albany) placed 7th in a PR 4508 points in the Heptathlon!!!!
Dana Fineman(Morivian) hit 11′ 11.75″ again..Ryan Karnopp(Morivian) set a University Record of 16′ 6.75″ Sean Burns flew 14′ 5.25″.. Destiny Distasio(Kutxtown) ripped over 11′ 3.5″ and Emily Savage his 12′ 5.5′ in Arkansas!!!
