More Vault Results….. Here are the New Vault Record Setters from Northern Valley-Demarest,NJ…. Pictured from left-to-right…First year vaulter Erin Yuder(Junior) 9’6″…Caitlin Reverand(Senior) 11′ 0″ … and Michelle Rubinetti(Junior) 11′ 6″…..combining for 32 Feet Relay Bergen County All Time Record and equals the New Jersey State Relay Record!!! The Demerast Vault program…one of the best in the state every year is coached by Mike Ives and Mike Theuerkauf and also includes up and coming freshman..Sydney Woods. Caitlin and Michelle will be competing next Thursday in the 122nd PENN RELAYS and the Demarest Vault Tour continues to compete in the Brian Ahearn Classic Twilight meet at Warwick Valley on May 7 at 6:01PM !!!

Congratulations to Soph Sensation…Melissa Purcell of Pascack Valley High School.NJ…setting another school record of 11′ 6″ yesterday at the Jack Yonkers meet. This talented sophomore is coached by Tim Wilson and has moved to her longer poles and grips. !!!

A special performance was recorded this weekend in long Island…as Junior Gymnastic Champion..Amanda McNelis of Commack High School set her outdoor school record ..with 12′ 4″ leap for Coach Jim Hendersen. Amanda split takeoff is paying off now !!!

Watch Out Massachusetts … here come Julia Valenti of North Reading,MASS…. AGAIN in the Pole Vault. !!!! This outstanding Hurdler(2nd in the Indoor State Meet this year)… has pick up her fiberglass poles for the outdoor season… and hit 11′ 6″ in her first meet !!! Her personal best of 12′ 7.75″ last spring is in trouble .. She heads to Dartmouth University next Fall.
