Hillhouse,CT….. CONGRATULATIONS to Westhill High School senior CHRIS ROUGH for winning his STATE POLE VAULT LL CHAMPIONSHIP today at 14′ 6″ for Coach Neal Perry. This dedicated senior…coming off a successful cross-country season ..moved up in poles at 15′ 3″ and was ever so close. He lead a FLYING CIRCUS SWEEP of the Top 5 Boys…with Leland Roberts(Danbury) 13’6″(Coached by Tim Murphy)…Tommy Chessman 3rd at 12′ 6″ Marc DeLuca(Westhill,CT-Soph) 11′ 6″ and Christian Partenio(Danbury) 5th at 11′ 6″.
The Girls State LL Pole Vault Champion was senior Laurel Baileyof Shelton High School ay 10′ 6″…coached by Ben Simonet at The Flying Circus Armory Pole Vault Academy !!!
