Senior Kara Snyder(Colonie,NY) was solid all day with her 11′ 6″ seasonal best for the Vault Trophy and club team mate Kalli Manly(Burnt Hills) took home silver at 10′ 6″ before the prom!!!… Sophomore Samantha Kaplan(New Paltz) placed silver at MHAL Champs at 9′ 6″ Sophia Alter(RV) 9’0″ Gabby Agostraro(RV) 9′ 0″ Honor Butler(NP) 8′ 6″… In Boys MHAL..Nile Abularrage(RV) placed second at 11′ 6″ Cosmo Sweeney(NP) 10′ 6″ for the Maroons..

He was voted the Outstanding Field Event Athlete Award !!! Laurel Bailey(Shelton,CT) set a new school record at 10′ 1″ In the Northern Championships.. Leah Wachsmuth(RC Ketchum) won her title at 10′ 6″ Alexis Vincent(Arlington) 8′ 0″ for silver… Shawn Cherian(Arlington) won the Boys vault at 11′ 3″ Sean Powell(John Jay) placed 2nd at 11′ 3′ PR !!

NYC Sectional Champs @ Icahn Stadium….. Senior James Deutmeyer(Fordham Prep,NY) set a new Catholic League meet vault record with is 16′ 5″ personal best. James heads to Villanova this fall . Joe Crispi(Farrell) hit 15′ 0″ James Ball(Fordham Prep) 13′ 6″ Luke Annirati(Farrell) 13′ 0″….
Congratulations to Mark Murphy of Greenwich ,CT for his 12′ 0″ jump in the Masters meet.. It marked the first jump in 26 years for the former Brown University 5 meter vault star!!! Binghamton University freshman Peter Fagan has been invited to the Jr Nationals in Eugene,Oregon in mid July !!!!
