  January 4 …….. Utica,NY – The cool conditions in the brand new Utica College Indoor Track Dome could not hold back Circus team mates…Tedi DeMaria(Bethlehem) and Kalli Manly(Burnt Hills) of powerful vault Section 2. Tedi DeMaria vaulted 12′ 0″ for Coach Gansel’s Indoor squad and senior Kalli Manly(Burnt Hills) flew 11′ 6″ for the silver performance and her NATIONAL QUALIFYING mark !! On to the BIG DANCE this March at the New Balance Armory!!! Tess Klugman (Bethlehem) opened at 7′ 0″ .

                         Providence,Rhode Island – The Rhode Island Classic was another sensational meet produced by Bob and Ann Rotherburg…as Ava Coleman(Mercy,CT) won the gold at 10′ 6″ for the powerful senior and super-soph Lia Zavattaro(Greenwick,CT) set her school record straight at 9′ 0″ to place 6th overall ..Devon Feuer(New Rochelle) sailed 8′ 6″ for Coach Capellan.

                        Wilton,Ct – Weston,CT junior Danielle Cass was the winner at the SWC meet in Wilton high School gym..with her 10′ 6″ sail in sneakers!!! Team mate Hannah Campos placed silver at 9′ 6″ for Coach Meadve and Newtown High School junior Lauren Russo placed 3rd at 9′ 0″ to start up her season.

                       Staten Island,NY – The Ocean Breeze Holiday Festival saw Charles Crispi(Farrell) sail to victory at 13′ 2″ for the strong soph Coached by Jerry Cahill… Matt DeLorenzo(Wallkill,NY) hit 12′ 0″ Joshau Jeong(MW) cleared 11’6 and Nick Verboys(MW) broke-out with his 11′ 0″ PR for Coach Glover/Coach Hemmer’s Crusaders.

                       Camp Hill,PA – Congrats to Coach Matt Conconnan at his Vaultworx Winter Bonus Meet in Camp Hill on Saturday..as his Katie Jones(South Williamsport,PA) won at 12′ 3″ and team mate Alexis Baubitz(Central York,PA) also soared 12′ 3″ in the jump off.. Both Girls have accepted their Invite to NYRR Millrose Games Jr.Pole Vault!!! Also soaring was Coughlin,PA junior…Madisyn Hawkins at 10′ 6″ and close bars at 11′ 0″!!!

                       Hillhouse,CT – The WinterGreen Invite at Hillhouse Fieldhouse saw Westhill,CT. junior Marc DeLuca soar 13′ 0″ for the win for Coach Neal Perry and Ava Coleman(Mercey,CT) winning again at 10′ 6″ . Nate Lianos(Danbury,CT) made 12′ 0″ this weekend.

We ..here at FLYING CIRCUS… would like to salute and thank Kyle Brazeil (MileSplit-New York)…Doug Binder(Dyestat.com) , Don Rich(MileSplit-PA) and Connor Mulcahey( HVFC Web Master).. for all there wonderful support for our event. These are the guys following and reporting the “KIDS-on-FIBERGLASS” journey!!!!!!! Pole Vault Spirit moves up!!!!!
   ******* UCS SPIRIT NATIONAL POLE VAULT SUMMIT ….The Flying Circus will be taking 15 Vaulters to the” GREATEST POLE VAULT EVENT in the WORLD” on Jan 14-15-16-17 in Reno,NV. Our facility and all classes/open sessions/team clinics will be CLOSED on those days. We will bring back all the UP-DATED concepts and information for all our vaulters progression.
