  NEIL HOWARD(Taconic Hills,NY)..LUKE BEATTIE(Warwick,NY). win NATIONAL TITLES !!!!!  Nike Nationals, Eugene, Oregon—-  Taconic Hills,NY. Multi-Star…Neil Howard is now crowned USA Decathlon Champion.  This. speedy. junior was ready for all 10 events…  and hit Decca PR’s. in 6. events. to record. 7, 153 points for the gold. It represents 500+ point improvement from last year.  His top 3 events. were  400m(48.49-886 points)..110 Hurdles(14.97-853 points).  and pole Vault(15′ 9″-849 points). He competes. in the 400 Hurdles today. and will attempt the NY State Junior Class record.  in Pv. at our Festival (16′ 7′-Lourenco-2021).

New Balance, Nationals, Franklin Field,PA  Warwick Valley,NY …Luke Beattie won his first National Title. in the Frosh Competition with his 13′ 7.5″ sail on his. first jump for  Head Coach  Mike Potter’s Purple Wave of Warwick Valley.  His hot jumping will continue.  at Circus Festival Frosh section on July 7 in the BarnYard outdoor pits. Another Frsh star was born, as Klaus Lindenau of Warwick Valley,NY pole vault stable….placing 7th at 12′ 1.5″ outdoor PR on his biggest pole ever!!!  Pole Vaulting. In the Girls Freshman Division..  was Cornwall,NY outstanding  Jump star(PV-HJ-TJ) Anderson Farina… with. solid. vaulting on her longer poles.  and longer run. She heads. to both Circus Camps. this summer !!!

Girls Championship …EMMA KEATING(Pompton Lakes,NJ),  had. a BIG 24 hours of pole vaulting success.. Thursday night, she. won NJ Meet of Champs. at 13′ 0″ on her. longer sticks and 1. close strong bar at All-Time NJ Record at 13′ 6″..then placed ALL-American status on Friday in the. NB  Nationals. at 12′  1.5″.  Teammate Ella Gallowat(Pine Bust,NY) placed  9th   at 12′ 1.5″.  and Warwick Valley,NJ. Lily Beattie. hit 12′ 7/75″. for Head Coach Kirt Thomas’ Wave.

 Girl;s Rising Stars.  produced fireworks of fun   for six Circus teammates..as. Maia Perillo(John Jay,NY)  became an All-American Pole Vaulter. with her. 4th place 11′ 5.75) clear on her first attempt.  Warwick Valley.NY Sophomore ..Rachel Venter…   flew 11′ 5.75″ also for an All- American podium finish for the  Wave. Tatum Norris(Susquehanna Community,PA) flew BIG over  11′ 5.5″ for the Circus Sabers… Madeline Magliaro(Trinity,NYC) was solid. at 11′ 0″, and Maura Michalczyk(Dunmore,PA) hit 11′ 0″ in the tricky wind.  competition.  New Paltz, NY Sophomore..Ady Laurie. went. for it following her. 12′ 0″ state meet finish of last week.

 Boys Rising Stars…. Connecticut State Champ..Derek Amilick of Staples flew 14′ 9″ and heads. to Circus Festival. ..NMate Park(old Tappan,MJ) hit 14′ 7.5″ and Teammate  Tyler DeMarco made 13′ 7.5″ for Coach Jeff Clark… and Ridgewood,NJ. senior. Matt Aono sailed. 14′ 3″. and split FAST on the Maroon Relays for Coach Tim Wilson.
