CONGRATULATIONS to all 23 FLYING CIRCUS athletes representing our Pole Vault Club this weekend at The New Balance National Indoor Championships …. It was exciting and rewarding for all of us to watch you STRIVE for EXCELLENCE…. SUPPORT EACH OTHER and REACH FOR THE STARS!!!! The past 4 months have been filled with tremendous spirit and total effort and WE ARE MOST PROUD of YOU!!!! THANK YOU .

EMERGING ELITE….. SAMANTHA BEYAR (11′ 7″) & CHRIS ROUGH(14′ 10.25″) take home ALL-AMERICAN HONORS!!!!!
In Friday’s National Emerging Elite Meet… Monroe-Woodbury,NY junior Samantha Beyar placed 5th with her 11′ 7′ personal best for Coach Goodwin and a close bar at 12′ 1″ on her 13′ 1″ UCS Spirit 145!!!! Chris Rough(Westhill,CT)…also just a junior placed 2nd in the Boys Section for Coach Neal Perry with his 14′ 10.25 vault for Silver !!!
Soph Kalli Manly(BH) made 11′ 1″ and moved up to her 12′ 6′ pole at 11′ 7″…Kari Murnane(Lenepe Valley,NJ) made 10′ 7 look easy…Catherine Walker(Monroe,NY) is back with her 10′ 7″ Erin Leahey(Warwick) 10′ 7″ Cara Kelly(Vernon) 10′ 1″ Kara Snyder(Colonie,NY) 10’1″) Leah Wachsmuth 10′ 1″ and Jessica Thornberry(Darien) looked great all day in her first National Meet!!!

BOYS CHAMPIONSHIP VAULT ….. Senior TODD UCKERMARK(Warwick,NY) completed a story book Indoor season with his 4th place finish and ALL AMERICAN honors with his 16′ 2″ vault and SUPER last jump at 16′ 6″ on his 15′ 1″ x 190 Spirit. Todd had 8 Meets over 16 feet this indoor and he is ready to fly this outdoor season!! Warwick Valley’s Derek DiBona also looked SUPER over 15′ 4″ and placed 8th in the Nation !!! Fordham Prep’s James Deutmeyer leaped 15′ 10″ for Coach Brian Carney and also hit ALL AMERICAN status!!!! Luke Annichiarico(Old Tappan,NJ) came thru again on his sprained ankle..with a near make at 15′ 10″ for the All State First Team vaulter. Travis Fountain(Monroe,NY) made 14’4″ for Coach Glover and Joe Crispi(Farrell,NY) is moving up poles this outdoor!!!!

GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIP VAULT…..Junior MADDIE SCHNEIDER(Darien,CT) came to the Armory with confidence… and soared over 12′ 1″ on her first jump and had 2 great bars at 12′ 4.5″ on her Biggest poles ever…13′ 7″ x 140 UCS!!!!…. Jenna Calandro(Newtown,CT) also looked SUPER over 11′ 7″ and BIG AIR at 12′ 1″ on her Biggest poles…. Pope John,NJ Multi-Event star..Katlyn Rymarzow kept the pole in front of her ay takeoff.. with a huge 11′ 7″ opening bar and close at 12′ 1″ for Coach Corcoran..as she lead all New Jersey Vaulters in the meet!!! Kari Stromhaug of Vestal,NY pushed to her biggest poles at 12′ 1″ for sensational jumps and will join in the FLYING CIRCUS BARN CHAMPIONSHIPS this coming Saturday at 12 noon !!! (Details below)

WILL NESBITT (FLYING CIRCUS,NY) FLYS in BOSTON!!! ***

COACH CAME THRU…….AGAIN!!! Flying Circus Coach WILL NESBITT place 2nd today in the USATF Indoor Championships at Reggie Lewis Track Center in Boston….with his 12′ 9.5″ jump and was Coached by the one and only” Belgium Wonder”…Ben Simonet!!!! Will had great jumps at 13’3.5″ and is ready for his World Masters Championships in Budapest in 10 days!!!!

JORDAN YAMOAH WINS NATIONAL NCAA II for 3rd TIME!!!!

Congratulations to Soph JORDAN YAMOAH(Texas A&M-Kingsville) for winning his 3rd NATIONAL VAULT CHAMPIONSHIPS this weekend at JDL FASTACK Arena… with a 17′ 1″ FLY-OVER and BIG POINTS for Coach Ryan Dall’s Javelinas!!!!!
