    The Flying Circus smiles were bigger than ever at the New England Championships in Middletown,CT and The New York State set in Syracuse,NY this past weekend.It’s called the ‘Fun-Thru-Hard-Work Program’ and continues to grow. Pictured here are the New England Circus Girls enjoying the medal ceremony in New Briton… Junior Danielle Cass(Weston,CT)… Senior Julia Valenti(North Reading,MASS) and senior Ali Moraveck(Masuk,CT) !!! Congratulations !!!! … on to the summer meets and camps !!!!!
   Middletown,CT… Williowbrook Park,CT was the scene on a rain delayed and chilly day for the 5 State New England Track & Field Championships for this years High School preps… North Reading,MASS senior hurdle/vault champion Julia Valenti breezed over 12′ 3″ for the gold medal and had 1 close bar at 12′ 9″ after a 90 minute mid competition delay.. Julia heads to Greensboro…Weston,CT junior Danielle Cass was a consistent vaulter all season..and placed 3rd at 10′ 9″ for Coach Duffy/Meadve…. Masuk,CT senior Ali Moraveck has come on strong this season and placed 5th at 10′ 3″ in the bad conditions…as she heads to Cornell University next fall to concentrate on her pole vaulting specialty….. Soph Rachel Hill(North Reading.MASS) backed up team mate Valenti..with her 10′ 9″ 4th place finish. In the Boys section.. North Andover,MASS. record holder Erick Duffy easily won gold at 15′ 0″ and heads to Greensboro for this Indoor All American vaulter with his 16′ 1″ personal best this outdoor season. He heads to Flying Circus camp/meet this summer !!!
   Syracuse,NY…. Cicero-North High School was full of elite athletes in every event at the New York State Championships and the results were unbelievable. New York High School Track is one of the Best in the USA every year…deep results..elite performances are tradition and this year was no different. Coming thru BIG TIME in the delayed Boys Pole Vault was the up and coming sophomore Charles Crispi of Farrell Prep and coached by Elite Pole Vault Coach Jerrry Cahill. The likable and respected strongman Crispi knows how to compete…and flew 14′ 9″ and kept moving up poles for the gold. He heads to Greensboro and wins this years Camp Scholarship. Coach Jerry Cahill..the former NYAC pole Vault Champion will also help at Boys camp July 11-12. Charles is still chasing the Family pole vault record of big brother Joe at 15′ 2″!!!! New Paltz,NY junior Dylan Scribani was sensational with his 14′ 0″ clear to place in D0II…Soph Johannes Stromhaug(Vestal) 13′ 6″ for Coach Cerra…Mat delorenzo(Wallkill) flew 13′ 6″…Adian Miller(Pearl River) was sensational at 13′ 6″ for Coach Hawkins… Dagi Tadesse(New Paltz) made 13′ 0″…Junior Isaac Heatley(Warwick) made 12′ 0″ for Coach Potter’s strong team showing of Warwick Valley Boys & Girls all day… George Zakharov(Croton-Harmon) was strong over 12′ 0’…Daeseob Lim(Tappan Zee) made 12′ 0’…Junior Jordan Schwartz(Hackley Prep) moved up 3 poles for a sensational 12′ 0″ PR!!!!

    The Girls Championship pole vault was deep with talent…as New York Sophomore of the Year..Alana Carroll(Averill Park) flew 12′ 0″ for Coach Cauthers for the coveted silver state medal. Alana won this years NB National Emerging Elite at 12′ 4.75″ and heads to Greensboro for next Saturdays Championship Pole Vault.. Coming thru with a sensational meet was Commack’s Amanda McNelis..coached by Jim Henderson at The Warehouse of Long Island. Turning her ankle again 2 days before the meet could not stop this Gymnastic/Vaulter champion.. she place third overall at 12′ 0″..Coming up Big also was Monroe Woodbury Super-Soph Kristin Lubeski..coached by Chris Goodwin… Kristin..using her 58’5/400m speed and her elite diving skills flew 11’3′ after a 2 wek injury break for 7th place overall. Burnt Hills senior School record holder Kalli Manly placed8th at 11′ 0″ Samantha Kaplan(New Paltz) placed 2nd in D0II with her 11’0″… Sophia Alter(Rondount Valley) finished a strong spring season at 10′ 6″… Lauren Berry(Emma Willard) hit 10’0″ PR then won state medal on her 4×100 Relay… Kelli Zestanakis(Townsend Harris) 9′ 0″..Amelie Legg(Delhi) finished a story book season at 9′ 0″Maddfy Luksha(Ursaline) 9′ 0″ and junior Maurin Oconnor(Rensselar) completed a super season again !!!
