FLYING CIRCUS ON-THE-MOVE UP…CONGRATULATIONS to all ATHLETES!!!!

The weekend was filled with ‘Flying Humans’…School Records….”Millrose Magic”…Team Battles… Personal Bests and International Friendship. You can’t make this stuff up… it’s REAL!

NYRR MILLROSE GAMES… Filled with Friendships and ‘Spirit’…. The Flying Circus hosted 30 pole vaulters in the three Jr. Vault events..starting on Thursday evening show at the Armory New Balance Center. Danielle Heine(Clarks Falls,PA) blasted over 12′ 0″ for 3rd place medal… Marisa DiGia( Old Tappan,NJ) also hit 12′ 0″ for 5th place on bigger poles. The Saturday Elite Jr Events were loaded and Deep …as the Boys from Arkansas Vault Club put on a fiberglass Clinic with both Haze farmer(Pearcey,AR) taking gold at 17′ 2.75″ and team mate Rhett nelson(Texarkania,AR) hitting the same 17′ 2.75″ for the silver medal for Coach Morry Sanders. Top Circus men .. were Liam Landau(Pascack Hills,NJ) at 15′ 0″ and Shane racey(Ravena,NY) at 15′ 0″ Conor Reilly(Scotch Plains,NJ) had solid opening height bars for Coach Mike McCabe.
The Elite Jr. NYRR MILLROSE Girls were the deepest results ever… with 4 girls over 4.0m and 9 Girls total over 12′ 9.5″. Completing the NYRR “Millrose Games Double”..was winner Edie Murray(Pearcey,AR) at 13′ 5.25″ for the Arkansas Vault Club. This was the first time the Boys and Girls winner came from the same Club/HS!!!!! Kaeli Thompson(Warwick,NY) flew 13′ 1.5″ for the 3rd place medal and Sydney Woods(NV-Demarest,NJ) was solid and big at 12′ 0″.. Special thanks to Meet Director,Ray Flynn and Armory’s Tim Fulton for promoting the Jr.Boys and Girls Events again this year!!!

CONNECTICUT— 3 New “STATE CLASS CHAMPS” from our little club… Adian O’Connor(Lewsi Mills,CT) wins Class M at 14′ 0″…. Elise Russell wins Class M at 11′ 0″ for Weston.Coach Matt Medve and Paige Martin of Norwich Free Academy wins the Class LL at 11′ 3″ for Coach Russ VanSteeg!!!
