ERICK DUFFY is back flying off fiberglass sticks!!! This North Andover,MASS senior has recovered from his late indoor season injury and placed first in the pole vault and hurdling this week up in the BAY STATE. Duffy set the Circus BBQ Meet record last summer at 16′ 6″ in the High SchoolDivision and plans to be back this July 15 to defend his meet record!!!

CHAMPIONSHIP VAULTING @ SCRANTON,PA…The PA District II State Qualifying meet at Scranton High School VALOR STADIUM was outstanding..as the Circis PA Girls went 1-2 and punched their ticket for another STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. James Coughlin High School , senior, Madisym Coughlin set a new Stadium and District II All Time record with her 12′ 6′ leap to break Mandissa Marshall (2009) record of 12′ 5″. Close again at 13’0″ bar…Club-Mate ..Abby Norwillo of Pittston Area High School leaped 12′ 0″ easily and moved to bigger and new sticks at 12′ 6″ and was close.! Dani McGrane(Coughlin) Top Frosh at 8′ 6″ and Alexis Kowalski(Coughlin) 8′ 6″.

Michelle Rubinetti(NV-Demarest,NJ) won the make up Gene Red Littler Bergen County Championships at 11′ 6″ for Coach Ives and PR’ed in Long Jump at 16′ 1″. …. Lia Zavattaro(Greenwich,CT) made 11′ 9″ for the third time this season in Greenwich…. and today Newtown High School ,CT senior Lauren in Newtown. Lauren Russo…flew 11′ 6″ PR at her “Senior Day Farwell “Meet. Lauren Heads to Bucknell University next fall.
