SECTION 9 TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS @ West Point — 30 Pole Vaulters from Flyin’ Circus represented their High School teams in the team scoring in the 7 hour extravaganza at Gills Field House on the Hudson River. Clapping..whistling….screaming and celebrating the pole vault was the fun of it all for athletes,coaches,parents and grandparents. CONGRATULATIONS to former WARWICK VALLEY GIRLS TRACK & FIELD COACH…RICH FURST for his SECTION 9 Track & Field HALL-OF-FAME Selection. This legendary Warwick Valley Girls Head Coach built the Girls Track and Field program to National Prominence from 1974 thru 2014 in Cross Country-Indoor Track and Outdoor Track. Also being inducted will be Coaching Legends Charlie Delmonico of Washingtonville High School Wizards and Malcolm Burks of Newburgh Free Academy.
