Now that it’s approaching CHAMPIONSHIP VAULT SEASON.. it is time for us to ‘GEAR UP’ our training…our spirit and our focus on moving up poles and moving our run back a step. A continued effort on refining drills positions and new summit drills perfection. We all must make a “LEAP-OF-FAITH” to get to the next bar…… YOU GOTTA’ BELIEVE !!!!!

West Point OCL Division… Monroe-Woodbury,NY came to Gillis Fieldhouse with Fiber-Fever… Travis Fountain zoomed 14′ 9″ PR and close at 15’1..Matt DeLoranzo (Wallkill) 12′ 0″….. Crusader Samantha Beyar(MW) flew 11′ 0″ for the gold …Lexi Finn(MW) 9′ 3″PR and Colleen Leahey(Burke) jumped 8′ 6″ for the Eagles..Katarina VanLedji(Cornwall) 8′ 6″ Crystal Nelson(O’Neill) 7’0″ )Freshman)

James Deutmeyer put it all together after his Summit trip with a 15′ 9″ PR for the win for Coach Brian Cleary… Ryan Murphy(IP) 15′ 0″ …Joe Crispi (Farrel) 15′ 0″ ..Jahkeem Wheatly(IP) 14′ 0″ Matt Fay(IP) 13′ 6″ Luke Ammiratti)F) at 12′ 6″ !!! Solid Vaulting in NY City!!!
Conference7 Championships,VA…. Lake Braddock Bruins scored big at Conference 7…as senior Rachel Fasana fly huge over 11′ 1″ for her win and team mate Maggie Rudd cleared 10′ 0″ and ready to move up poles!!!
New Balance Games @ Armory… Todd Uckermark(Warwick) flew to a new meet record of 16′ 0″ for Coach Potter’s Purple Wave…Joe Crispi(F) hit 14′ 9″…Reggie St.Louis(NR) made 13’3″ school record!!!! Aidan Miller 11′ 3″ Shawn Cherian(Arl) 11′ 3″ Sebastian Camacho(NP) 11′ 3″ !!! In girls action.. it was a loaded field of eleite vaulters.. as Kari Stromhaug od Vestel,NY jumping 11′ 9″ for the win …also hitting a school record 11′ 9″ was another junior..Katlyn Rymarzow(PopeJohn,NJ). Both Girls have 12′ 1″ PR’s and have been invited to MILLROSE GAMES 2014. Placing 3rd was Jackie Meeks (Colonial,VA) at 11′ 6″ Kara Snyder(Colonie.NY) 11′ 0″) Erin Leahey(Warwick) 10′ 3″ Carolan Frisina(SY) 9′ 3″ Nicole Sarno(PopeJohn,NJ) 9′ 3″ Dana Rokicsak(CS) at 8’9″
In Friday’s Frosh/Soph New Balance Games.. It was all Nick Marino(Hatsboror,PA).. taking gold at 11′ 6″ for this freshman star coached by Lawrence Johnson ay LOJO ASSULT!!!

Our Winter Club Membership Instruction ends Febuary 9… we will be opening HS OPEN VAULT SESSIONS EVERY TUESDAY AND THURSDAY EVENINGS from then on to help all vaulters continue their “DRIVE TO THE TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN”… These sessions will be open to all vaulters at $30 per vaulter per visit..just like Sunday Open sessions.
