The Warwick Valley – Washingtonville Dual meet is always filled withe exciting competition and results. Today ..that TRADITION CONTINUED..as hometown host… Warwick Valley Central enjoyed spirited vaulting from the Boys Fiber-Benders and the Girls Fiber-Cats. The 16 person VAULT SQUAD at Warwick Valley pushed their runs back and picked up their bigger poles vs undefeated Washingtonville Wizards.
…. Warwick Valley senior…Isaac Heatley had a double PR Day… with his 14′ 9″ blast and 3 very close bars at 15′ 1″.. Heatley now moves up to #2 on the NY State Boys list for this spring. Adding another Pr ..is the Warwick Valley junior..Dane Sorensen..at 13′ 3″ inversion… and adding to the deep meet was senior Breandan McShane9Warwick) at 12
‘ 9″… Freshman Mack Hallet sailed 10′ 6″ again Soph Aidan O’Connor jumped 10′ 6″ in his first Pole Vault meet. !!!! Sophomore Jacob Becher…the solid and fast soph did not jump.

The Girls Vault was also outstanding for both teams… as Warwick Valley sophomore Kaeli Thompson soared to an 11′ 2″ outdoor PR and had very close bars at 11′ 10″ from 8 lefts. She also had an outstanding anchor leg on the winning 4×100 Relay. Soph Lindsey Julian of Coach Duffy’s Vault crew placed second overall a 8’6″…and Soph Daniellia Raymond(Wizards) PR at 8′ 6″ for this fast improving rising star. Freshman Madeline Sorensen placed forth at 7’0″ Caroline Fatta leaped 7′ 0″ Kalie Mezzetti made 7′ 0″ and Courtney West made 6’ 0″ in her first pole vault meet.. Freshman star..Genevieve Reilly Did Not Jump.
