…CONGRATULATIONS to our senior club vaulters KARA SNYDER(Colonie,NY) and TRAVIS FOUNTAIN(Monroe-Woodbury,NY) for teaching us all about this wonderful spirit of inner self. Let’s follow suit……

Dartmouth Relays… Colonie,NY senior Kara Snyder is back from last spring’s injury..with her Dartmouth Relays 11′ 6″ vault and moving up to her Bigger Poles all day with Coach Cauthers helping hand. The Villanova bound senior brushed off 12′ 0″ on all three attempts!!!! Circus team mate…Kalli Manly(BH,NY) soph made 11′ 0″ for 3rd place in this traditional meet in the snow!!!

Stanner Games @ Armory “Hall -of-Fame”….. Another great comeback story took shape on Saturday morning…as senior Travis Fountain(Monroe-Woodbury,NY) reyurned to the pole vault event after an injury last spring . The likable and respected Fountain never complained about his injury fate… and Coach Glover supported his comeback this winter…he soared 14′ 7″ to place 3rd and near missed at 15′ 1”..placing behind Circus mate Joe Crispi(Farrell,NY) also jumping 14′ 7″ for the Maroon… Shawn Cherian(Arlington) leaed 12’1″ for 8th place.
…Samantha Beyar (Monroe-Woodbury,NY) was focused for her first Armory Major meet win in the vault as. she sailed 10’8″ for Coach Chris Goodwin…and team mate Lexi Finn jumped 8’0″ for the Purple Pride!!

SCC Invite @ Hillhouse,CT…. 8 Flying Circus Vaulters lite up the Floyd Little Fieldhouse on Saturday….with Jenna Calandro(Newtown,CT) leading the charge with her 11′ 6″ gold medal vault.. followed by Maddie Schneider(Darien,CT) at 11′ 0″…Jane Wall(Weston,CT) at 10′ 0″ Rachel Moroknek(Ridgefield,CT) 10′ 0″ Jessica Thornberry(Darien,CT) 9′ 6″ Chloe Brown(Glastonberry,CT) 9′ 6′ E,ily Castro(Weston,CT at 8′ 6″ !!!

East Stroudsburg Invite,PA….. Junior Katlyn Rymarzow(Pope John,NJ) was the HS Vault Winner at ESU Invite… With No Spikes allowed…Rymarzow flew the coop at 11′ 0″ and had great attempts at 11′ 6″ after her 9.40 PR Hurdle placing for Coach Corcoran Squad. They are competing next weekend at the NJ State Relays at Toms River Air Dome !!

*** CONGRATULATIONS to Freshman DANA PLACENTRA at New York University for setting an ALL TIME UNIVERSITY PV RECORD at GOTHEM CUP on Friday Night at 10′ 2″!!!
