It was   another  exciting Pine Bush vs Warwick Valley  get-together in Pine Bush ..under  blue skies  and  warm tempertures… with  all the  pole vaulter’s   bringing their  A- Pole Vault Game to the fast runway..loaded up  with side/tail winds all day.     It was    sprinter/hurdler/vaulter…Rachel Venter’s  Day… with her  setting  a  new 8th Grade State Class pole vault record of 11′ 6.5″ for  the  win. The old  all-time record  for 8th graders belonged  to Laura Reigle(Hilton,NY) at 11′ 6″. Using a modest grip but improved  technique..Venter  had  1 close  bar  at 12′ 1″.  She  also  won the 400 Hurdles.   Also excelling all day  was  freshman..Lily Beattie(Warwick Valley)  with her 11′ 0″ leap  and 100m Hurdle win  and  4×100 Relay win.  Pine Bush ,NY..junior Multi-Eventer…Amelia Tremper (Pine Bus,NY) set Pr’s  in PV(7’6″) Long Jump(12′ 4)  High Jump  4′ 6″  and 800m !!!!  Helping all day  at the Pit  was  freshman  super  star..Ella Galloway(Pine Bush) and Julie Christian on Clipboard.

  ANDY CIMINO  SOARS  14′ 3″  for Gold……  Just  a  Rising Sophomore….Andy Cimino(Warwick Valley,NY) flew  14′ 3″PR  and solid bars  at 14′ 9″  in addition  to both hurdles   and  4×100 Relay  work  for the CATS.  Grif Vondeben of Pine Bush came up huge over  11′ 6″  for  silver for the Bushmen.

  Luke Beattie/Anthong Roe   sweep Middle School Meet Pole Vault……… Watch out  for  the young stars on fiberglass poles… as Coach Bob Sorensen’s  Flyers’ put on a  show  at Warwick MS Meet….Luke Beattie  flying 10′ 0″ for 7th Grade School Record  and team mate  Anthony Roe kicking up big over  8′ 0″ .  It’s  starting  to happen…Keep training  with a purpose!!!!!!!
