The Greatest Track Meet on the Planet took place at Franklin Field this weekend and the cool temperatures and gusting winds could not hold back the spirited efforts of FLYING CIRCUS athletes. The tough pole vault conditions kept a lid on Elite Results for all three days of competition…but Samantha Beyar( Monroe-Woodbury,NY -Junior)……. coming off her New Balance EE Indoor Nationals super meet in mid-March…she again turned up vertical for a forth place finish in a personal best 11′ 11.75 ” for the Purple Pride Crusaders. Samantha battled the winds with her 13’1″ UCS Spirit and 12′ 7″ grip and took 2 great attempts at 12′ 3.5″ in the final group. Also producing in the unfavorable conditions was Katlyn Rymarzow(Pope John,NJ) and Maddie Schneider(Darien,CT) both at 11′ 1.75″ and close at 11′ 8.5″!!!
In the Saturday morning Boys HS Championship…Old Tappan,NJ senior Luke Annichiarico soared 14′ 9.25″ for a 6th place finish and Travis Fountain(Monroe-Woodbury,NY) sailed 13′ 9.25″ for Coach Hemmer/Coach Glover Foundation. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL VAULTERS!!!

PAT LYNCH is BACK…..
…Cranford,NJ pole vault star..Pat Lynch produced a gold medal performance at the Millburn Relays with a fly-over at 14′ 0″ on his BIG POLE and then brushed off 15′ 1″ on his last attempt. The Notre Dame bound sprinter never gave up his faith in his ability!!!! Team mate Dan Hannen cleared 10’0″ for the Relay runner up medals and Peter Festante(Governor Livingston,NJ) made 12′ 6″ and team mate Ferris Harrison made 11′ 6″.

KATLYN RYMARZOW FLYS @ RANDOLPH RELAYS…
…Bouncing up high on Saturday was Junior Katlyn Rymarzow of Pope John,NJ. The hurdler/vaulter equalled the Meet vault record with her 11′ 6″ jump for the win…followed by Lenape Valley,NJ multi-sport star ..Kari Murnane and Nicole Sarano(Pope John,NJ) and Emily Phalon(Pope John)

JULIA VALENTI …”NEW GIRL on the FIBERGLASS BLOCK” …. This North Reading,MA
All-Around Track star has focused her sights on the Pole Vault this spring. The All State Gymnastic Star flew a school record 11′ 0″ this week and near missed at 11′ 3″ on all attempts for the sophomore sprinter/hurdler/jumper. She also hit 34′ 7.5″ PR in Triple Jump the same day!!!!

ALFONSO SCANNAPIECO (Albany) hits 16; 6.75″” @ PENN!!!
Albany University Multi-Event junior Alfonso Scannapieco placed 3rd in the Wind Tunnel at Franklin Field on Saturday before a roaring 52,000 Track Nuts……and Peter Fagan(Binghamton) looks sharp at 15′ 11″ for Coach Mike Thompson in the Eastern Vault…Tim Murphy(UCONN) also looked great over 15′ 11″ for the Huskies!!!!!
