We are most proud of you in conducting your self with class and style all weekend…both on and off the Pole Vault runways. The improvement from this experience will appear in your pole vault technique in just a few short months…as we apply the newest concepts we learned from the very best National Coaches in this country. Now ..it’s BACK TO TRAINING!!!

Coach Ben Simonet Wins MASTERS COMPETITION…Derek Dibona Soars 15′ 8″ HS/ Samantha Beyar Leads Girls HS at 11′ 11″ Jump!!!
Middletown,NY senior Ivan Meises broke his Middletown High School Indoor record with his 13′ 10″ sail and close at 14′ 4″ on runway number 1… Martin Desermy(NP) and Matt Delorenzo(Wallkill) looked great all day on Runway #5 and Coach Will Nesbitt helped coach them all up both days. Samantha Beyar got some college coaches interest with her near make at 12′ 4″ from COach Cauthers..as she hit the 12′ 7″ easily and ready to move up now… North Reading,Mass super junior Julia Valenti soared over 11′ 4″ from her 6 step and was solid at 11′ 11″ on runway #4….Burnt Hills,NY junior Kalli Manly flew 10′ 8″ with big air… Cara Kelly(Vernon) made 10′ 0″ on her short poles..Soccer/Vaulter Ali Moraveck(Masuk,CT) just a junior hit 9′ 2″ and Maurin O’Connor(Doane Stuart,NY) improved all day at 8’8″. Open Division..Sean Young(USF) flew BIG over 17′ 6″ for the Don Marsh Vault Crew!!!

College Results…Manhattan University Sop ..Marisaa Robbins set a new University record of 12′ 3.5″ at Gothem Cup..Kara Snyder(Villanova) Freshman 11′ 10″…Madesson Weekes(Manhattan) 10′ 10″…James Steack(VT) 16′ 1.5″..Justin Farrenkopf(Albany) 14′ 7″ Stefan Buechel(Albany) 14′ 1.5″
High School… Senior Maddie Schneider(Darien,CT) broke the Yale University Invite Meet Record with her 12′ 4″ sail and then had close shots at Connecticut All Time Indoor record at 12′ 8″(Emily Savage-12′ 7″ Weston-2-13). Maddie used her 155 pole at record attempts… Maddie has been accepted to the one and only United States Military Academy @ West Point for next year. She will be coached by Elite Pole Vault Coach Jon Hill at West Point…CONGRATULATIONS MADDIE!!! Kerstyn Chulla(Sachem) placed 2nd at 10′ 6′ Laurel Baily(Shelton,CT ) placed 3rd at 10′ 0″‘ Leland Roberts(Danbury,CT) won gold at 15′ 0″ for Coach Murphy..Chris Rough place 2nd at 14′ 6″ and Mark Deluca hit 12′ 0″ for Coach Neal Perry!!! Christian Patenio made 12′ 6″ for Danbury.
