47th Glenn Loucks Games,White Plains,NY …Saturday morning the girls hit the Mondo Runway first in this traditional Meet of Champions…. with Darien,CT junior Maddie Schneider soaring huge over 12′ 0″ for the win into strong headwinds…This marks her 4th time over the 12 Foot Barrier this season…and she had 2 close shots at her school and meet record at 12′ 7″ on her biggest pole. Placing third was Kari Stromhaug(Vestel,NY) at 11′ 0″ Rachel Moroknek(Ridgefield,CT) 10′ 6″ Jane Wall(Weston,CT) 10′ 6″ Matea Friedel(Rye) 9′ 6″ Dana Rokicsak(CS) 8’6″ Kat vanLedjte(Corn) 8′ 6″… In the Boys afternoon Division…Iona Prep.NY Junior Ryan Herrera Murphy won gold for Coach Cahill at 15′ 0″ Travis Fountain hit 14′ 0″ for Crusaders of Monroe.

Johnstown Invite,Johnstown,NY…. Kara Snyder(Colonie,NY) crusied to another vault win in the Girls division and ben Vardi-Davidson(Fonda) placed second at 11′ 0″ for Coach Petersen.

Hunterdon/Sussex/Warren Championships, Wallkill Valley,NJ….. Katlyn Rymarzow(Pope John,NJ) might be the most consistent vaulter this spring for the Circus…as she won her championship with her 9th 11′ 6″ jump of the outdoor season and was big over 12′ 0″ on all three jumps… She also tripled jumped 35’2″ for a seasonal best… Club-mate…Kari Murnane(Lenape Valley,NJ) has also stepped her game up the past 3 weeks with her 10′ 6″ make and close bars at 11′ 0″.. Niki Claery(HC) hit 10’0″ and 58.6 in open 400!!! Cara Kelly(Vernon) 10′ 6″ Sabrina Anderson(HC) 10′ 6″!!! In Bergen County Champs Amy Bravo(Park Ridge,NJ) took silver at 7′ 6″!!!

Liberty Conference,NJ….. The SEC Championships was the scene for Ike Osbun(MKA,NJ) to shine…the All State Hockey Goalie… sped the vault runway for the win …with a new school record 13′ 6″ vault for Coach dan Placentra….He had great shots at 14′ 0″ on his new UCS Spirits!!!! The Union County Champs had the Cranford,NJ Vault crew pumped up…with senior Pat Lynch sailing 14′ 0″ for the third week for the gold medal..and team mate danny Hannen hitting 12′ 0″ for a personal best… The Northern Valley-Demerast vaulters continue to score big fiber points.. with Sam Siegel hitting 14′ 0″ Kevin Layne 12’6″ and Brett Croen 12′ 6′ before the storm ended the fun before the finish..

Fallsburg Comets….The Wednesday Tri-Meet in Fallsburg,NY was filled with up and coming vaulters…as Adian Woolsey(TV) made 12′ 1″ on the new UCS Vault Pit…Adam Hurwitz(F) made 11′ 6″..Josh Helzims(F) 9′ 0″…Meagan Hurwitz won the girls meet at 8′ 7′(School Record) and Kali Seastrand jumped 7’6″ vault for silver.

College Up Dates….
Congratulations to Binghamton University freshman…Peter Fagan for soaring 16′ 4.75 ” this weekend in the Albany Last Chance meet. Sarah Haley(Binghamton) placed second in Womens at 11′ 9.75″ and ToriAnn Werner(Albany) made 10′ 8″ !!!!
