The Flying Circus Pole Vault Club …… presents our 2020 SUMMER POLE VAULT CAMPS…

You are invited to join the Summer Camp Teams and experience new pole vault instruction. The Camps are 2-days …. full of pole vault introduction drills ..warm up and running mechanics …lectures… competitive strategies .. …vault technique and pole vault apparatus drills for specific positions for pole vault. The original Camp T-Shirt and Camp Pole Vault Booklet will be included in your camp registration. The Summer Camp is open to the first 50 Boys and first 50 Girls who register. Our 6 Runways will be divided into ability grouping for immediate results in gaining technique. Camp cost is still $295 per athlete.

FOLLOWING both CAMPS…. We would like to invite you and your pole vault friends to our 12th FLYING CIRCUS BBQ POLE VAULT MEET !!!! This is our final week at FLYING CIRCUS for the SUMMER… and this is a celebration of our full year of pole vaulting. The BBQ meet is a must for all pole vault nuts……last year we hosted 131 pole vaulters in Middle School, High School…College…Open and Masters Divisions. Our Goal this year is to gather 200+ athletes who …LOVE POLE VAUL:T !!! Join us and enjoy the Music…Food and Friendships.

“I believe I can fly….” That’s the theme for all 115 Flying Circus Pole Vault Acrobats this CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON. It’s now PURE POLE VAULT. Big results are pouring in this last weekend of January… and the State and Nationals are just six weeks away. Athletes are tuning every polished drill into high flying reality. Grips and poles are moving up each week in our progressive approach of mastering Track & Field’s most complex event. Stay the course… your lifetime best performance is just about here!!!!!

* Lewis Mills,CT senior Aidan O’Connor is back to his full run and sailed over 15′ 1″ School Record at the HK Invite in New Haven on Friday and then was close at CT. Indoor State Record of 15′ 4.5″!!!
* Marisa Di Gia(NJ) … senior at Old Tappan,NJ took top honors at the Bergen County Relays at Armory to lead her team to the pole vault Relay with rebecca Gross at 9′ 0″. Randi Conro(no.Highlands) 10′ 6′ Nicoletta Venizelos(Ridgewood) 9′ 6″. Old Tappan ,NJ . junior..Shaun Herlihy took home the individual gold at 13′ 0″…as No.Highlands team of Liam Conroy (12′ 6′) and Lucas Khowaylo(12′ 6″) won the Pole Vault Relay Gold.
* Conor Reilly( Union Catholic catapulted 15′ 0″ for his win and Bella Gray(Union Catholic) sailed 10′ 6 again this weekend.
* Lily Beattie (NY)…. 8th Grader at Warwick Middle……. won at West Point on Saturday with a new NY State Class Record of 10′ 7′ on her 13′ 1 x 165!!!!! Rachel Venter(Warwick Middle,NY)… 7th Grader flew 9′ 0″ for the 3rd time this season and was close at State Record 9′ 6″ !! Mack Hallet(Warwick,NY) senior won Boys Division at 12′ 6′. Ellie Lemler ..a junior at James O’Neill,West Point flew 10′ 0″ Friday Night..followed by Sophie Mirecki(Wash) at 9′ 6″. BIG Fly action came Friday night in the Boys…as Louis Martinez(Wallkill( flew 15′ 6″..as did Nick Mirecki(Wash) at 15′ 6″ and BOTH had 16′ 0″ great jumps… slip away.
* Jules Gravier …a junior at Bronxville,NY entered the 11 Foot Club with her win at Bullis Invite at 11′ 0″… Bella Gray(UC) placed second at 10′ 6″.
* Hannah Solomon-Hollander of Suffern,NY won the Rockland County meet today at 10′ 3″ for the Mounties..Lauren Hancher(TZ) 10′ 0″…Madison Chalfin(CS) 9′ 6′ Ashley Harrington(PR) 9′ 0″ Erin Dowling(PR) 8′ 0″ In the Boys Section… Steve Nastro of Clarkstown South won at 13′ 0″ John Reynolds(PR) 12′ 0 Jared Fiscus(NR) 11′ 6″ Eoin O’Gara(PR) 10′ 6″.
* Brewster,NY ..junior..Clarissa Cuomo(Brewster) won another Northern County Championship at 10′ 0″. Taking the Gold was Ketcham,NY senior..Jason McDonough at 14′ 0″…Team mate Charlie Hatzmann also at 14′ 0″ Jeremy Frank(Arlington) 12′ 6′ Lucas Valckenere(Arl) 9′ 0″ .
* In Upsate NY… Summer Camper ..Leah Pasqualetti (Orchard Park,NY) few to history..with her 14′ 0″ sail for Coach Mike Auble of PVP!!!!! This speedster with a big heart is the TOP SEED in the NYRR Millrose Games Jr. Pole Vault Event on Feb. 6 in the NB Armory. Mary Saxer’s NY State Pole Vault Record of 14′ 2″ is in her sights!!!! Congrats Leah and Coach Aubel.

* Our Indoor Club Training Package ends on Monday Feb 3 for Boys and Tuesday Feb. 4 for Girls. WE OPEN EVERY WEDNESDAY NIGHT BEGINNING Feb. 5 for Open Practice Sessions at 5:30-7pm and 7-8:30pm for Boys and Girls Combined training. Cost $30 at the door per athlete. Join us and stay in RHYTHM .
* SUMMER POLE VAULT CAMPS…. Forms will be available for our 2-Day camps this summer..WE TAKE 50 Boys and 50 Girls ONLY.. Register Early!! Girls Camp(July 6-7 ) Boys Camp (July 8-9) Cost $295/athlete.

* The 113th NYRR MILLROSE GAMES will feature the Jr. Girls Elite Pole Vault on Thursday night Feb. 6 at the NB Armory… 13 TOUGH GIRLS… 3 Flying Circus Vaulters …The Boys Jr. Pole Vault will be on Saturday Feb. 8 at 11:45AM in the NB Armory… 10 All-American Boys… 2 Flying Circus Vaulters!!!!
