Leading the Boys Results was Ravena,NY senior…Shane Racey…last years NYS Outdoor Champion at 16′ 0″.. he pushed over 15′ 10″ this weekend in Reno,NV National Pole Vault Summit on borrowed poles!!!! This Cornell University bound honor scholar is ready for this 113th NYRR Millrose Games challenge on February 8. Leading the Circus Girls was Norwich Free,CT senior Paige Martin.. with a PR at 12′ 6″ at the SCC Coaches Invite for Coach Russ VanSteeg. She also is ready for a shot at her state record of 12′ 9″ by former Circus athlete…Emily Savage (Weston,CT) 2013. Paige and Elise Russell (Weston, CT) will compete in 113th NYRR Millrose Games Jr. Girls Vault on Thursday evening… February 6 at the NB Armory. In todays CIRCUS YOUTH MEET..It was all Rachel Venter again.. as the 7th Grader from Warwick Valley Middle School upper her own NY State 7th Grade Record to 9′ 3″ for Coach Mike Potters Purple Wave and Warwick Valley Freshman..Andy Cimino sailed 12′ 9.5″ to win the Boys Meet JOE TEA prize!!!! Dave Johnson’s SPEED STEP CHART is producing incredible speed on all of our pole vault runways. This speed increase is the key factor in producing better performances. All athletes must continue to push to your limits in your High School Speed workouts. ” The Fastest Athlete ” …….is dangerous in Pole Vault. SPEED = HEIGHT !!!!!!!!!

Weekend Recap of Reported Results

Lavino Relays @ Lawrenceville School….. Union Catholic senior speedster..Conor Reilly set a personal best in winning the meet at 15′ 6″! This comeback story is more than incredible and 16 foot+ is coming for him. Junior Bella Gray(UC) placed 5th at 9′ 6″ for the Blue/White.
Monmouth HS Invite,NJ….. Senior Dalton Yeust(Yunkhannock,PA) is moving up every meet..with a win at Monmouth Invite in a new School Record 14′ 9″ in that bright orange jersey for Coach Clayton Yeust!!
Yale Invitational, Cox Cage,CT ….. Great performances came from Elise Russell(Weston,CT) with her 11′ 6″ second place silver and Paige Martin(NFA) with her 11′ 6″ in third place bronze. Also stepping up was Madison Martin(NFA) with an indoor PR at 11′ 0″ for 5th place!!!!
Stanner Games,NYC Armory…. Nick Bianco did it again..New School Record at 14′ 3″ for the Massapaquea Chiefs…. Jeremy Frank(Arlington,NY) 12′ 9″PR!! In Girls section—Clarissa Cuomo(Brewster,NY) continues her assult hit 9′ 6″ !!!!
